MONDAY MUSINGS

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover”

~ Mark Twain

And so begins another year. Not New Year resolutions but One Word.....

I have been thinking about this a lot in the last few days.....

Begin

Imagine

Believe

When I look at the definitions they all have resonance. I want to grow this year creatively but also I

want to grow as a person, to put aside the needless worries and doubts that seem to hang about me .

I want to be free of this constant internal battle that goes on inside me....

I wish you a Happy New Year full of promise, peace and happiness......

  1. Love, love the Mark Twain quote. I think I have my word but need a few more hours to solidify it. Last year's word for me was "wonder" and it fit perfectly. Happy New Year!

  2. I agree with Kate, I love that quote, and it is so true! We must risk everything to grow into the women we are suppose to be.

  11. I love both quotes and the photo. I am ready to be free of my internal chaos and doubt. I've chosen to do a word a week this year because I don't want limits this year! At least that's the plan. We'll see how that goes. At the very least it will get me blogging again! Happy New Year!
